Bo has been involved in a number of sports: including youth basketball, football, and swim. He graduated from Burroughs High School with a GPA of 3.5, taking 3 AP classes his senior year. Bo swam on the varsity swim team, starting his freshman year all the way up to his senior year. He would go to C.I.F. his junior and senior year to represent his school in the 200 freestyle and the 200 individual medley relay teams. The most memorable event his in swim career was at league finals his junior year, where he would out touch the rivals, Granite Hills High School, by half a second in both of his respected relay teams. During his summer’s off, Bo worked as a lifeguard and a swim instructor at the now-closed Pinney Pool, directing many forms of instructions. This included courses ranging in every age, from parent-taught sessions to patrons well in their 20’s, yet his primary focus has been in the athletic development of younger children. The swim team that was held by the pool during summer hours also gave Bo a sense of what it means to be a coach, guiding swim lanes with drills and exercises that enhanced the swimmer’s ability. After graduating, Bo shortly worked at California Psychiatric Care assisting children with behavioral inefficiencies. This gave Bo a deep appreciation in the field of working with children, realizing his goal to be forever young. Bo is fully dedicated in empowering children so that they can have the tools needed to build their own ambitions and goals to fully achieve their dreams. Bo is currently writing two feature films in his spare time, where he has been slowly achieving his dream of directing movies. He has the following certificates through USAG: Fundamentals of Gymnastics Instruction, Safety and Risk Management, Instructor Certificate. He has the following other certifications: CPR and First Aid.
